The Plastics Business Unit, as a hands-on trader in the plastic business and a member of Sumitomo Corporation Group under an inseparable relationship with the Basic Chemicals & Electronics Div., Sumitomo Corporation and overseas organizations of Sumitomo Corporation, aims to expand this business around the world also with a view toward acquiring assets.
Sumitomo Corporation Group handles a global plastics business, with our business unit dispatching representatives to China (Shanghai and Guangzhou), Thailand, Vietnam, India, Mexico and the Czech Republic. In Japan, our business unit has four (4) bases: Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Hiroshima.
